Brief Description
At the exit of the town and with the same name of the street where it is located, we can find this set of popular taste. It was built in the first half of the 19th century, becoming from that moment the traditional site of the water supply for the population, until the last quarter of the20th century, when it was replaced for the provision for providing services via pipes that came from the nearby Zapaton river.
The material used is brick plaster and the whole surface was then whitewashed. Architecturally it has three distinct areas; on the one hand we have the body of the fountain, in an ogee form with two spouts which is the water outlet, and the second section corresponds to a large font dedicated to the watering of livestock, and finally there is a circular enclosure that was used to wash clothes.
