The door is flanked by two 13 metre high cylindrical towers. Peculiarly, accommodated in its structure are two accessible entrances; the first with a central arch and the second of a more pointed appearance.
It is worth noting the importance of the defensive nature of this post as it provided several obstacles put in place to hinder enemy attacks, such as the use of an upper passage where hot oil and all kinds of other objects could be thrown.
