Brief Description
Singular building dated between the 14th - 15th, which served as a temple of prayer to the Jewish community established in the villa until 1492
It is quadrangular, following the examples of the Sephardic synagogues, with four central columns which in turn set up a boxing ring for the disposal of the bimah, or platform from making the reading of the Torah. These columns are joined together by arches that support the roof timbering setting. The current site is accessed by a lintel door and inside retains other two doors that would communicate other dependencies missing today.
