Date: End of May
In the area known as the Faseja is where this cattle fair developed, which was recuperated by self-employed farmers in Albuquerque in 1997, after 50 years of inactivity. Among the various spaces stand 65 pens which house the sheep, horses, cattle and pigs.
Besides the exhibition and sale of livestock, there are also lectures and conferences on the issues and innovations in the sector. There is also a series of contests, such as mastiffs, sheep and donkey sheering, and horse wrangling.
The program of events, in addition to livestock-related activities, includes concerts, festivals and various sporting competitions which take place until Sunday (the last day of the fair), which is when trophies and prizes are given to the contestants and exhibitors.
